$787.5M Settlement Abruptly Ends Dominion’s Defamation Case Against Fox News

Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation case against Fox News abruptly ended. Just hours after a jury was selected, a $787.5 million settlement was reached. Dominion was suing Fox for "knowingly spreading lies" about its voting machines after the 2020 election. Dominion says they implored Fox to stop, bombarding them with 3,700 denials and corrections. However, they say the lies continued. Fox News stars such as Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham were also expected to testify.
