99-Year-Old Vet Raises More Than $17 Million for Hospitals by Walking Laps

A British Army vet couldn’t sit still while his country battles the coronavirus. So he decided to walk and ended up raising more than $17 million for hospitals. Retired Captain Tom Moore set out to raise just 1000 GBP ($1,245) for the National Health Service. He chose to walk 100 laps around his garden in honor of his 100th birthday at the end of April. The pledges started pouring in and as news of his mission spread, his tally just kept growing. InsideEdition.com’s Mara Montalbano has more.
