A Canine Flu Is on the Rise in South Florida, Veterinarians Say

South Florida residents, beware: there’s a canine flu making its rounds, and it’s highly infectious. The official name is Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex, but most know it as canine or kennel cough. Veterinarians told CBS News’ Michael George that symptoms include coughing, sneezing, discharge and difficulty breathing. And dogs can easily spread it when they’re in close contact.
