Abandoned Baby Chimpanzee Gets Adopted by New Family in Spain

Djibril is a baby chimpanzee who was born at a Spanish wildlife park in the spring of 2019. Unfortunately, the little primate’s birth mother didn’t take to him -- she rejected her offspring. So the keepers at the park had to be stand-in parents for Djibril, while they worked to find him a new home. They got in touch with another Spanish park who also had a family of chimpanzees. The two groups had to acclimate Djibril to the new park. It’s not always easy to find a home for a chimpanzee.
