Abandoned Oregon White Hyundai Elantra Not Connected to Idaho Students

A promising lead in the University of Idaho slayings turns out to be a dead end. Police say the white Hyundai Elantra found abandoned in Eugene, Oregon, “is not believed to have any relation to the ongoing murder investigations." The owner of the vehicle was identified and she lives in Colorado. She told police officers the vehicle was abandoned after a collision. She also has no known connection to Moscow, Idaho or to any of the four victims.
