After Losing Sight and Limbs to Sepsis, Washington Mom Says 'Life Is Good'

Carol Decker was several months into her second pregnancy when she entered the hospital with an infection. Her condition deteriorated, and she developed sepsis, a life-threatening condition that causes heart irregularities, tissue damage and organ failure. Carol nearly died in the hospital, and lost her lower legs, her left hand and her sight. Now, a decade later, Carol is grateful for everything she has, telling InsideEdition.com, “Life is a gift.”
