Airline Almost Kicks California Woman Off Flight After Wrongly Suspecting She Had Monkeypox
A California woman says she was kicked off a flight due to being suspected of having monkeypox. Jacqueline Nguyen and her wife boarded a plane in Los Angeles when a flight attendant asked to speak with her about her eczema rash. After being marched off the plane, she says Spirit Airlines officials asked her to provide proof of her eczema diagnosis with medical documents. After producing her prescription eczema skin cream, she was allowed to re-board the plane.
