SUV Falls Over 20 Feet Onto House

An SUV fell over 21 feet onto a house. Units from New Jersey’s Verona and North Caldwell Police departments both responded to a call for a suspected stolen SUV. Authorities say the tracking system indicated the vehicle was stationary on the border of their two jurisdictions. According to police, the driver attempted to flee, striking two parked vehicles. It went through a fence and dropped 21.3 feet off of an embankment. The vehicle struck a car and a house below.
