Apple’s New iWatch Sensor Will Tell You if You’re Washing Your Hands Correctly

We know handwashing is one simple way to help prevent coronavirus infection. So, as part of its World Wide Developers Conference, Apple unveiled a new handwashing sensor for the iWatch. The company said it would use “machine learning models to determine motion which appears to be handwashing, and then use audio to confirm the sound of running water or squishing soap on your hands.” Apple also introduced a new emoji customization feature for face coverings.
