Archaeologists in Peru Uncover 1,200-Year-Old Mummy With Skin and Hair in Tact

Peruvian archaeologists have discovered a mummy believed to be over 1,000 years old with some of its skin and hair still intact. The mummy was found at the archaeological complex of Cajamarquilla, near Lima's outskirts. The body is believed to be that of an adolescent. Archaeologists are still uncovering new finds at Cajamarquilla. In January, eight children and 12 adults believed to have been killed in a ritual sacrifice were unearthed.
