Are Enough Cops Patrolling New York City Subway Stations During the Night?

This year, nine murders were already reported in the New York City subway system compared to just three in 2019. To combat the crime wave, New York City Mayor Eric Adams pledged to dramatically increase the number of police patrols. To see for ourselves, Inside Edition's Lisa Guerrero boarded the subway at the height of rush hour and spent the entire night riding across New York. During the nine-hour ride, there was very little police presence but there we did not see any violent crime.
