Arizona Woman Survives Flash Flood but Loses Dog During Police Rescue

Dramatic body camera video shows a woman being rescued from powerful flooding in Arizona. Apache Junction Police said on July 28 alone, the department “responded to 24 different calls for service related to flooding.” Sue Teder says she was in a car with her dog when a flash flood surprised her, pushing her vehicle backwards and spinning. Wile Teder made it out of the sinking car to safety, her 11-week-old puppy, Claire, has not been seen since that day.
