Armed Deputy at Florida School 'Never Went In' During Shooting: Sheriff

An armed deputy on campus during last week's deadly high school shooting in Florida didn't even go into the building after hearing gunshots according to law enforcement.  After reviewing surveillance video, the Broward County Sheriff says Scot Peterson, the deputy assigned to Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, took up a position outside the school but never tried to confront the shooter, who killed 17 people.
