Sunken Car Creates Home for Colorful Fish

An artificial reef in the Persian Gulf has turned an old car into a new home for fish. Snapper and angelfish swim behind the wheel of this submerged vehicle. The automotive artificial reef lies 30-feet down, off the shore of Qatar. And it’s attracting not only fish, but scuba divers and ecotourism. Natural coral reefs have been declining around the world, and while the car may make for cool pictures, experts say artificial reefs are not an equal substitute for coral.
