Assault Suspect Using Dating Apps to Escape and Find Victims, Say Oregon Police

A man suspected of assault and attempted murder may be using dating apps to “contact unsuspecting individuals who may be lured into assisting with the suspect’s escape or potentially as additional victims,” according to police. Authorities in Grants Pass, Oregon, say they are partnering with local and federal law enforcement after a woman was found “bound and severely beaten into unconsciousness.” The suspect was identified as 36-year-old Benjamin Obadiah Foster.
