At Least 1 Dead After US Aircraft Crashed Off Coast of Japan
At least one person is dead after a US military aircraft crashed off the coast of Japan. Japanese Coast Guard officials say the Osprey was carrying several service members at the time it went down. Six patrol boats and three aircraft were deployed to search for the Osprey, according to the Coast Guard. The body of one crew member along with aircraft debris have been recovered from the water. Officials say the status of the other crew members and the cause of the incident is currently unknown.
