At Least 14 Dead, 36,000 People Displaced in Italy Flooding

Rescue crews on Saturday were working to reach towns and villages in northern Italy that were cut off from highways, electricity and cellphone service following heavy rains. The death toll from rains that pushed two-dozen rivers and tributaries to burst their banks stands at 14, with over 36,000 people displaced. Flooding rivers have swollen the dense network of agricultural canals, which have also overflowed, causing a domino effect. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has more.
