At Least 15 People Dead After Ecuador Earthquake

Pope Francis on Sunday prayed for the victims of a powerful earthquake in Ecuador. ''I am close to the people of Ecuador and assure them off my prayers for the dead and all those who have suffered,” Francis said. At least 15 people were killed in a strong earthquake that shook a coastal region of Ecuador and northern Peru on Saturday. A museum on a pier was almost completely submerged after it collapsed.
