Attorney General Eric Schneiderman Resigns Amid Sexual Assault Allegations

New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, a champion of the MeToo movement, has resigned following allegations that he beat up two ex-girlfriends. The 63-year-old led the effort to shut down Trump University in 2016. Schneiderman also took legal action against disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein. Two ex-girlfriends tell New Yorker magazine that he was a “Jekyll and Hyde” who “hit them, often after drinking.”
