Australian Cancer Survivor Receives 3D-Printed Jaw in Rare Surgery

An Australian woman is all smiles after a successful surgery in which a 3D-printed jaw was implanted into her mouth. Anelia Myburgh is a cancer survivor who had 80 percent of her jaw removed after doctors took out a cancerous growth. Myburgh wore a mask to go out, and was tired of strangers staring at her. Now she says the operation has given her a new outlook on life.
