Doctors Fly to Reach Vulnerable Kids

Children who may never have access to specialty health care are getting treatment because of Little Wings. Volunteer pilots, each with a minimum of 1,000 hours total flying time, bring big-city doctors into the Australian outback. Little Wings is a non-profit organization that brings doctors to young patients who may otherwise spend days traveling for care. This program was created during the pandemic when many people, especially children, could not reach medical care.
