February 2, 2026
Deputies with the Pierce County Sheriffs Office in Washington State are being hailed heroes after they responded to a mail truck that had caught on fire after colliding with a sedan on January 8. Footage of the incident was recently released and obtained by Inside Edition Digital shows the first deputy on scene recognized that the driver of the mail truck was injured and in danger due to the fire. The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office tells Inside Edition Digital that they would like to thank a female bystander who stopped to help and to Central Pierce Fire.
