Photo of Hamas Hostage Sparks Outrage After Winning Award

A controversial photo won the Picture Story of the Year award from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. It shows a 22-year-old German-Israeli citizen being taken hostage by Hamas on a pickup truck. The Associated Press says their photographers did not collaborate with Hamas. The Missouri School of Journalism says  "While we understand the reactions to the pictures, we also believe photojournalism plays an important role in bringing attention to the harsh realities of war."
