Walrus Gets 24-Hour Care After Being Found Far From Ocean

A baby walrus is in need of 24-hour care which is more demanding than many other rescued marine mammals. The walrus was found miles the ocean, where it should have been. The calf is currently being cared for by the Alaska SeaLife Center because his mother couldn’t be found. This is the first walrus in its care in four years and one of 10 in 25 years.
