Banksy-Funded Boat Rescues Migrants in Mediterranean Sea

The elusive British artist Banksy now has a boat, decorated with Banksy art. But despite its hip exterior, it’s not a pleasure craft. It’s a rescue boat named the Louise Michel, and it plies the Mediterranean Sea between Libya and Italy. It’s on the lookout for migrants fleeing North Africa for Europe. Those refugees are typically in flimsy rafts or boats. Rescue ships like the Louise Michel intercept those refugee boats and bring their passengers to safer craft.
