Black Stork in Turkey Freed After 8 Months of Rehabilitation

This black stork is finally free. The bird was discovered last year. Its wing feathers were cut off, and it was incapable of flying. It was wounded during a migration route in southeastern Turkey. When it was found, it was weak and hungry. For the last eight months, the Nature Conservation and National Parks staff has worked tirelessly to get the stork healthy again.
