Bodycam Footage Shows Officer as He's Dragged by Fleeing Suspect's Car

It was a terrifying ordeal for a cop in Florida. After responding to reports of a suspected overdose, an officer in Pembroke Pines reaches into a car. The man in the driver's seat starts the car and takes off, dragging the officer. The harrowing drive continues for half a mile before the officer is able to roll away from the car, which was stopped by police shortly afterward. The driver and a passenger were taken into custody, and the lucky officer is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
