Book Checked out of California Library in 1927 Returned After 96 Years

It’s never too late to do a good deed and one man proved that by returning a library book 96 years after it was checked out. Reports say a copy of “A History of the United States” was checked out of the library in St. Helena, California, in 1927, but only recently found its way home. The person who returned it reportedly said he found it while doing a cleaning of his garage. Nearly 100 years later, the local library was thrilled to get it back.
