Brave Firefighter Rescues Dog That Fell Through Thin Ice

Officials say a dog ran away from his owners while on a walk, only to fall into a creek that had frozen over. Hearts were pounding as a firefighter made his way onto thin ice to save the dog. The rescuer, tied to a rope, wrapped his arms around the canine before falling in himself. They were pulled back to safety but the Canadian fire department is using this moment to remind people to stay off the ice.
