    British Serial Killer Peter Sutcliffe, aka ‘Yorkshire Ripper,’ Dies in Prison

    Peter Sutcliffe, known as the "Yorkshire Ripper," died after contracting COVID-19. The 74-year-old Sutcliffe had been residing in an English prison. Sutcliffe terrorized northern England from 1975 to 1980. In 1981, he was arrested and convicted of the murders of 13 women, and the attempted murders of seven more. Sutcliffe, a Jehovah's Witness, had refused treatment after becoming infected with the coronavirus.
