'Gossip Girl' Actress Michelle Trachtenberg Dead at 39

Actress Michelle Trachtenberg, best known for playing Sarah Michelle Gellar's kid sister on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is dead. Trachtenberg was found dead this morning at her luxury New York City apartment by her mother, who called 911. The actress had reportedly recently undergone a liver transplant and may have suffered complications. The medical examiner is investigating the cause of death. However, foul play is not suspected. She was 39.
