California Choir Returns for Easter Service After Years of Virtual Performances

These choir members are gathering together, singing without masks for the first time in two years. At the height of the pandemic, singing in a large group was labeled as a potential super spreader event, after a choir practice in Washington state left 53 singers stricken with COVID-19, and two died. Now, CDC guidelines that were put in place have been relaxed, and the Lake Avenue Congregational Church in Pasadena, California, is thrilled to be giving an in-person Easter service performance.
