Teens Celebrate Getting Rejected From College

Prospective college students at a magnet high school in Los Angeles, California, turned lemons into lemonade by celebrating the rejections they have so far received. One by one, seniors from downtown magnet high school shredded their dreaded college rejection letters from places including Columbia, Yale and Vanderbilt. “I have a few; I have like Northwestern, Northeastern, Cornell and UCLA,” senior Laura Sanchez told KCBS.
