California Neighborhood Rescues Fox With Pipe Stuck Around Neck

A gray fox is recovering after a corrugated pipe got stuck around its neck, leaving it with gnarly neck wounds. The fox was first spotted in the Corral de Tierra, California, area by Claire Pendleton on her Ring cam. She and other concerned neighbors quickly began working to get him help.  It took a few weeks, but the young fox was lured into a cage with the help of delicious syrup-soaked bread.
