California Taco Bell Worker Fatally Shot in Drive-Thru Over Alleged Counterfeit Money

The Los Angeles Police Department says a person opened fire with a semi-automatic weapon in the drive-thru of a South L.A. Taco Bell on Saturday. The customer was reportedly denied service after employees determined they allegedly tried to pay with a counterfeit bill. Police say that’s when the person shot several times into the drive-thru window, striking and killing 41-year-old Alejandro Garcia. Garcia leaves behind a wife, two sons and a daughter.
