Chadwick Boseman’s Widow Cries Accepting His Golden Globe for Best Actor
The night of the Golden Globes was particularly emotional for Chadwick Boseman’s widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, who accepted the award for best actor in a motion picture on behalf of her late husband. Boseman was posthumously honored for his role in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom,” seven months after he lost his battle with colon cancer last summer. "He would say something beautiful," Ledward said during the emotional acceptance speech.
