Cheerleaders Run Off Competition Stage in Texas After Fears of Gunfire

Cheerleading contestants ran off the stage during a competition amid fears of a shooting. Texas cops raced to the convention center in Dallas where the event was being held. Ten people were injured in the frantic escape from the National Cheerleaders Association All-Star National Championship. The drama proved to be a false alarm. "An altercation between two attendees created loud noises that were mistaken for gunfire," says the National Cheerleaders Association.
