Circus Animals Rescued From Burning Truck

Ten circus animals were rescued after a semi-truck and trailer burst into flames. The animals belonging to the Shrine Circus were heading to the show in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Troopers and deputies made several trips to lead the animals out one at a time. The first trooper and the first deputy on the scene were both treated for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported. Five zebras, four camels and a miniature horse were all safely evacuated.
