Why Did These Activists Throw Mashed Potatoes on a Monet?

Two activists from the group Letzte Generation, which translates to Last Generation, are calling on the German government to take drastic action to protect the climate, act on climate change, and to stop using fossil fuels. They approached Monet’s “Les Meules” at Potsdam’s Barberini Museum and threw a thick substance over the painting and its gold frame. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer has more information.
