Cold Cases From Nevada and Colorado Linked to Same Suspect

Two homicide victims in two states with one killer. It took years, but the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department says it knows who is responsible. Investigators say Sherrie Bridgewater was found dead in her Las Vegas apartment in 1991. She was sexually assaulted and strangled. It wasn’t until 2013 when her rape kit was sent for testing, but the DNA results didn’t name a suspect. It did link this case to another cold case in Colorado.
