Colombian Navy Busts Narco-Sub Carrying 2 Tons of Cocaine Off Pacific Coast

A patrol boat from the Colombian navy intercepts a "narco-submarine." The semi-submersible craft was spotted off the Pacific coast of the South American nation. Inside the 30-foot long vessel, authorities found three people, and two tons of cocaine. The drugs were bundled in some 2,000 smaller packages. Their estimated value was $68 million dollars. Meanwhile, in Florida last week, the Coast Guard offloaded over a billion dollars worth of illegal drugs in Fort Lauderdale’s Port Everglades.
