Community Rallies to Save Coffee Shop From Gentrification

Rachel Nieves owns Buddies Coffee in Brooklyn. The business was going fine until she got the news that a new, much larger coffee shop was opening right next door. Nieves got on social media and made a tearful plea. Her heartfelt message went viral with over seven million views. Coffee lovers started lining up in droves outside Buddies to keep the place open.
