Construction Workers Unearth Woolly Mammoth Tusk in Kansas

The tusk of a woolly mammoth was found by a construction crew in Kansas. Construction chief Randy Thimesch told Inside Edition Digital that his crew was digging a foundation when they spotted something unusual. “I go, "Man, that looks kind of suspicious,’” he said. “‘I think that's a mammoth tooth.’" It turned out to be a large fragment of a mammoth tusk. “It was just kind of neat to have that happen,” Thimesch added.
