Glass Straw Sends Woman To Emergency Room, She Says

Breanne O'Brien ended up in the emergency room after she said she drank from a glass straw. O'Brien tells Inside Edition that her straw had broken. She says she needed a CAT scan of her stomach where doctors saw the chunk of glass from her straw. They performed an endoscopy to retrieve the glass, but it had already moved out of her stomach. The mom of six shared her story and coast to coast people started inspecting their glass straws and with many of them throwing them in the garbage.
