Cop Saves Snapping Turtle Without Losing Fingers and Other Turtle News

Virginia Wildlife officials picked up a massive, 65-pound snapping turtle wandering around Fairfax County and found it a home at a local zoo. Over in Wisconsin, a police officer had to move quickly to get a snapping turtle out of the road. When a sea turtle needed help, the Coast Guard came to the rescue and environmentalists are celebrating the end of a successful tortoise breeding program.
