Cops Who Narrowly Escaped House Explosion Glad They Didn’t Get There Faster

The policeman who narrowly escaped death when a house exploded is speaking out. Officer Travis Hiser says he's lucky to be alive. Amazingly, the 37-year-old walked away without even a scratch, suffering only scrapes and bruises. The blast was triggered after a car crashed into a home and hit a gas line. Dixie and Charlie Bridges were in the home with their adult son when everything blew up around them. The massive fireball was caught on a security camera across the street.
