Coronavirus Causes Loss of 10 Million Jobs in 2 Weeks in the U.S.

Some 10 million Americans have lost their jobs in the past two weeks. There were 6.6 million jobless claims in the U.S. this week, the most ever recorded. So-called non-essential service industries have been hit hard.  “I don’t think people realize how many of us there are,” a bartender on New York’s Lower East Side told CBS News. As of April 2, over 200,000 people in the U.S. have been infected with COVID-19. Over 5,000 people have died from the virus in this country.
