Coronavirus Could Be Much More Dangerous for Young People Than Previously Thought

In a disturbing new development in the battle against the COVID-19 virus, growing evidence suggests that young people may be in much more danger from the virus than anyone imagined. Right now, there’s a 12-year-old girl on a ventilator and a 7-month-old baby struggling to survive in a hospital. The baby’s 27-year-old mother tested positive for coronavirus over a week ago. Her son’s first symptoms were a dry cough and a running nose, which he got well before he got a fever.
