Crowd Cheers on 26-Year-Old Suspect as He Flees From NYPD Officers

Some bystanders in New York City cheered on a man as cops tried to subdue him. The two officers struggled as onlookers urged the suspect to resist. When all three officers tumble to the ground, the suspect managed to get away. He was later identified as former college lacrosse player Shawndel Evans. Evans was apprehended soon after he fled. His attorney says Evans will be exonerated and that “he was knocking on the cop's [car] window asking for help."
