A devoted father didn't let his flight attendant daughter's work schedule keep them apart over the holidays, joining her for Christmas at 30,000 feet. Hal Vaughan took six flights in three days so he wouldn't miss a second with his daughter, Pierce, a Delta Air Lines employee. The journey began on Dec. 23 as he flew from New Orleans to Detroit, down to Fort Myers, Florida, and back to Detroit. The next day, he joined her on a trip from Detroit to Hartford, Connecticut.
